Didn't like anything, except breakfast.

Nice base for 3 nights with very pleasant staff at the reception desk. Marvellous location for our visit to a known zoo at a moderate distance from the hotel. Close to a train station, very convenient.

Issues with air conditioning effectiveness!!! Inconsistent room cleaning standards!!! Neglected gym equipment maintenance!!! The lack of adequate noise insulation impacted my peaceful stay!!!

The spa zone wasn't working.

Breakfast was great. The location is very convenient: in front of the U-Bahn, minutes away from the famous shopping center Ka-De-We. The room was very much noise-proof.

Certainly, I had selected this Hotel because of the spa and the wellness services. I had booked the hotel for 2 entire weeks. When I arrived I was informed the swimming pool was closed, the fitness was not functioning, the sauna was being renewed and the entire spa area was not accesible (do they make renovations in July during the high season?). Also the air conditioning was disconnected -indefinitely- in the whole building because of the complaints of the neighbours about the noise (no comments). They told me the spa would be functioning in 5 days. But the 2 weeks went by and I was not able to use it one single day. Of course I got a discount... But that's not the case. Besides: There was no place where to hang the towels in the shower area in my room. The staff was just correct but not friendly at all (with a few exceptions), and some of them could not even inform about simple things in the surroundings. And last but not least: It is very inconvenient that a Hotel of that alledged category can't offer free Internet for the guests.

Quality of the fittings & furnishings was very good. New designer hotel chic and modern.

Pool quite small but very well finished. Food & drink on the expensive side. No coffee facilities in the room. .

Request a room away from the road to minimize noise, as sound isolation can vary significantly.

It's okay.

The reception team was super friendly and helpful. We visited the famous Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and explored the vibrant neighborhood around the East Side Gallery. The heated pool and sauna were fantastic for relaxation after all the sightseeing. A little pricey breakfast at 25 euros, but it's got all the essentials, including smoked salmon.

I was surprised by the extra charges for bedding and towels for an additional guest, mentioned in the small print. Seemed unfair considering we already paid for the room.

Location near one of the main areas of Berlin, yet quiet and pleasant and easy to get to other parts of Berlin by public transport. Restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner.

Bathroom is modern style with dark glass including mirrors which were sometimes difficult to use for e.g. females making-up and males shaving
